About US
Our Purpose
Eden Coalition is a network of Eden Area organizations committed to creating a world that works for everyone through inclusion, compassion, and justice. We honor each person’s dignity and support the well-being of all, especially the most vulnerable. Because our lives are interwoven, we know that when one is harmed, all are harmed: an injury to one is an injury to all.
How Member Orgs support each other
Support can take many forms, including:
- Collaborate on each other’s community actions to influence public opinion and move lawmakers (example: rallies, phone banks, postcard campaigns)
- Offer resources: gear, talent, space, experience, training, Know Your Rights cards.
- Share knowledge and strategies for effective education and mobilization of allies and activists.
- Show up for each other — visibly and vocally.
How We Work Together
- Each member organization has 1–2 liaisons with access to the confidential coalition communications infrastructure.
- Each organization discerns which actions to support based on its own mission, charter, or guidelines.
- We meet quarterly to share progress, asks, offers, tips, and invitations.
How To Join As An Individual
We welcome individuals into our Call to Action Signal Group, where you can respond to requests from member orgs to call electeds, show up at meetings and protests, support local initiatives, etc. How you engage is entirely up to you.
If you’re new to Signal, you can download it here, then click here to join our CTA group.
Our Staff
We don’t have staff! Member organizations drive the action. We have a volunteer communications coordinator, Ben Ogilvie (she/they). You can reach Ben via the Contact form on the Home page or the Contact page.
